CINNAMON TWIST BREAD (Resepi Roti Gulung Kayu Manis)

Alahai sedihlah pulak tak rajin nak join contest akak kali ni. Kenapa ek..susah kot..tak perlah orang tak nak join tak kan nak paksa kan. Esok tarikh tutup jadi sape yang nak join bolehlah join yer.

Ada ker yang tertunggu-tunggu N3 pasal gi jejalan tu ek. Semalam petang dah siap dah N3 tu..entah camner boleh terdelete semua N3. Hilang mood nak buat balik. Kang bila rajin akak buat balik ek.

Kita tenguk dululah resepi roti pintal ni yer. Buat dah lama dah. Sebelum pergi jejalan. Resepi ni akak ambil dari Rinnchan . Kalau ada BM lagi best tau..taklah penat nak mengguli roti ni. Lenguh tangan nak mengguli tau tapi nak ikutkan kehendak hati terpaksalah buat gak.

Ingredients:
400gm high protein flour
12gm instant dried yeast
1gm bread improver ( used 1/2 teaspoon)
6gm salt (used 1 teaspoon)
50gm egg (used 1 med size egg)
48gm caster sugar
12gm milk powder (used 2 tablespoon)
60gm margarine
190gm water
1 egg yolk, to brush

To sprinkle :
Mix 1 teasp00n cinnamon powder and 3 teaspoon caster sugar (I used brown sugar)

Method :
1. In a large bowl mix together flour, yeast, milk powder, sugar, salt and bread improver. Mix well.
2. While mixing, add in egg and margarine consecutively.
3. Add in water little at a time making into crumble. Knead until dough is formed and not sticky.
4. Cover the dough with plastic film and let rest for 10 mins.
5. Divide dough into 8 equal small dough and round them. Proof for 5 mins. Cover with plastic again.
6. Using hand roll each small dough into a long sausage shape. Do rolling and rest 3 mins for 3 times until dough length reach about 18cm-20cm.
7. Twist the dough as the diagrams shown below and place on pre-dusted baking tray. Proof for 10 mins or until doubled the size.
8. Brush surface with egg yolk and sprinkle mixture of sugar and cinnamon powder.
9. Bake at 190 Deg Cel for 10mins - 15 mins or until golden brown.

1. Gelek doh sepanjang 18cm-20cm.
2. Satukan kedua-dua hujung.
3. Pintal seperti tali.
4. Selitkan 2 hujung yang telah disatukan tadi ke hujung yang melengkung.
Sapukan kuning telur dan taburkan gula perang yang telah di gaul dengan serbuk kayu manis. Separuh dari doh akak taburkan dengan gula warna warni sebab akak akak tentu tak makan kalau akak letak serbuk kayu manis. Dah naik sekali ganda barulah di bakar.
